Regarding damages in shipping

Inspections should be made prior to acceptance of goods from the shipper. You may refuse damaged goods or have the shipper note in their records the damages.

Any items refused or noted (with shipper) damaged in shipping, require notification to Thoughts of Home within 5 days of receipt.  We will work with you to rectify the situation with a replacement or refund depending upon the situation.

Manufacturer Defects

 

Other damages or defects from the manufacturer will be rectified. There will be no additional charges for the handling of these items.

We will make an effort to rectify the situation to your satisfaction.

Refunds (other than damaged goods) may be subject to a restocking fee and return shipping costs.  You must receive a return goods authorization, please contact Thoughts of Home within 10 days to obtain this authorization.  There will be no refund of shipping fees. Fees include all shipping charges incurred regardless of sale shipping charges.  Any credit card fees will also be charged.

Basically our policy is to refund you the amount you paid less all of the charges we will incur for the order.

Lamps, Clocks and decorator products
including stock window treatments 20%

                Chandeliers and lighting fixtures and stock furniture 30%

In some cases the restocking fees may be waived or reduced for 'exchange' items.  

Window Treatments and Draperies

As a standard policy any window treatment or drapery or furniture order is not refundable.


 Window Treatments and Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged, unless damaged or ther is a construction defect. Shipping will not be refunded and the customer pays return shipping unless there is a material defect.

Our products are 100% guaranteed against defects in quality or craftsmanship. In the event of a defect in your custom drapery,  we will, at our discretion, refund, repair or re-make the item. As a standard policy any window treatment or drapery order is not refundable.
